Luna heard the stories over and over. Sandals worn through pregnancies, holidays, recoveries, changes, moves, and returns.
They were there without comment, without drama, without asking for attention.
“That is the kind of work I wanted to do” she explains.
Why is it ending now?
After thirty-five summers, Luna feels the years in her hands. The cutting, pulling, and stitching that once felt effortless now ask more than they used to.
“I want my last pair to be made with the same care as the first,” she says. “That is how you honour time.”
So she chose to end the work while it still felt whole.
